All couples, regardless of gender or sexual identity, are welcome to be joined in marriage at Emmanuel United. Planning begins with contacting the minister, to confirm the use of the church and so we can offer assistance in making the wedding service as meaningful as possible for you. Please contact the church office for further information, including current rates. Wedding services can be provided in the church building or elsewhere, subject to prior consultation with the minister.

When a person dies, we consider it a privilege to assist you with the planning of a suitable remembrance. A service of worship held in honour of your loved one can be held at the church or elsewhere. Please contact the church directly for assistance or more information.

The regular practice of the United Church is to have infants baptized during Sunday worship. We baptize children and adults as well. Where different beliefs of parents makes infant baptism a difficulty or challenge, please contact the minister for possible options for celebrating the birth of a child.
