The Upper Room is Located on the 2nd Floor which is  Elevator accessible.  The area holds up to 90 chairs, or 10 tables with 60 chairs and is not air conditioned.  This room also has access to the Upper kitchen.

The Upper Kitchen is Located on the 2nd Floor which is  Elevator accessible.  It is a small basic Kitchen and is not air conditioned.  This room also has access to the Upper Room

Upper South Room

The Upper South Room is Located on the 2nd Floor which is  Elevator accessible.  It is a small carpeted meeting room and is not air conditioned.  It holds up to 40 chairs or 5 tables with 30 chairs

Fellowship Hall

Is a large air conditioned meeting hall/gymnasium that holds 200 chairs or 12 - 8 foot tables or 24 - 2x4 foot tables. The hall has a full service kitchen attached by a pass through window and door. Also available is basketball/volleyball/badminton nets (no floor markings) and there access to a portable 12’ x 16’ stage and piano.

Church Kitchen

Is a full service kitchen with appliances such as a large gas range and ovens, a large storage refrigerator cooler, freezer and automatic dishwasher. There is access to serving carts, microwave, coffee urns, kettles, dishes and cutlery to serve up to 200 persons.

Tarbutt Room

Is a  small air conditioned meeting room that holds up to 30 chairs or 4 tables with 24 chairs. It is partially carpeted and is located off the Fellowship Hall

Fire Side Room

The Fireside room is a carpeted facilities with a gas fired fireplace, piano and a TV-VCR with stand. It has 30 cloth chairs, 2 large wing back chairs and an  ornate drop leaf table. There is access to 12 card tables and the Church Kitchen

Sanctuary

This facility is available as a seated auditorium (275 seats), piano, sound system, for approved usage. This approval is made by the Worship Committee.

Guidelines for your Event

Please ensure that the following have been done.

 

· Opening the building
             –
Use the key to enter by the Southwest doors (south side of sanctuary, wooden with small windows).  Open and unlock only those doors that your group will need e.g. south side central glass doors beside the ramp or the parking lot doors at the east end of the Hall.  The 2 parking lot doors are locked and unlocked using an Allen Key located near the door.  You are responsible for locking the doors that you open even if there are other groups still using another part of the church.

· Stacking of chairs/tables
             –
If you require chairs and tables to be set up please arrange this at the time you make out your contract.  There is a fee for this service and arrangements will be made to have the chairs and tables set up and taken down again.

· Decorations
              –
No Latex balloons allowed (Mylar acceptable) due to severe allergy problems. These are to be removed following your event and taken away.  They must not be left up on the walls.

· Garbage
              –
You are responsible for bringing garbage bags and bagging and removal of all waste items, including excess food.  There are no facilities for storing garbage bags/ boxes/ containers in the building. Please remove garbage at the end of your event.

· Washrooms
             –
Check that all washrooms are clean, paper litter is off the floor and that all taps have been turned off.  Please turn out the lights before you leave.

· Lights, fans
             –
Please see that all fans and lights have been turned off before you leave.

· Doors
             –
Please see that all exterior doors are closed and locked.  Check to see that the door latch is caught.

· Floors
             –
Please see that all loose materials, dirt have been cleaned up from the floors.  If you find it necessary to mop (due to spill etc…) please use water only.  There is a Cart with a broom, dustpans, mop and bucket located in the north closet in the Fellowship Hall.

· Final Building Check
             –
Before you leave it is requested that you do a walk through of the building to ensure that all lights are off, doors shut and locked.  If there is another group meeting in the church, please let them know that you are leaving and that they are responsible for doing the final Building Check.

· NO SMOKING IS PERMITTED IN THE BUILDING
      NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ARE PERMITTED ON THE PREMISES
