To our Emmanuel Church Family

Over the past few years Emmanuel United Church has used various ways to communicate information to its members and adherents and to receive information from them.   We have used newsletters, mail outs, emails and our website.   We have attempted to assign a “church visitor” to each member and adherent in order to facilitate our communication link.  Lately we have been having more difficulty recruiting people to serve as “church visitors”.   We are finding that many people prefer to pick up their information newsletters, etc at the church or to have them mailed electronically.

By this summer we will be welcoming a new minister. It is important that we have a good communication method in place before her arrival.

To this end, we are asking all our members and adherents to complete the attached form to indicate what method of communication they would prefer.   Please submit your response by mail or drop it off at the church office in the envelope provided. Members of the Pastoral Care Committee will be in touch, by telephone, to seek out any outstanding forms.

Your cooperation is requested to help us provide a more streamlined way of communicating with our church family.  We are striving to use our people and electronic resources most effectively.

We appreciate your cooperation and we thank you for taking the time to complete the brief questionnaire on the back. This survey will also be found on our website – emmanueluc.com under Communication Survey and can be submitted electronically.

Yours in Christ’s Service,

John A.                                                                                                       Doug

Chair, Church Board                                                                              Clerk of the Church
